A friend of mine once suggested that I do the Day Zero Project . Until recently, I’ve not really considered it. However, I feel it’s high time I did something that would create more substance and direction in my life. I hope this project creates in my life the impetus that has been missing for too long.
Basically the idea is to write down a list of 101 goals you wish to accomplish in 1001 days. The items need to be meaningful and well-defined. They can be big goals and small goals. I would think that it would be ideal to have a good mixture of big and small, easy and difficult, grand and modest.
It took me almost a week to materialize the list (it’s a lot harder than it sounds). Here is my list:

I’ve already started with some of the items on the list, and it feels very gratifying. If you feel inspired after reading this entry and decide to pursue this project for yourself, kindly drop me a comment to let me know, so that I may credit to item #96 on my list. I will also be posting up my progress from time to time.
My deadline is August 27, 2012.
You’ve got a good list going. I may start one, especially since I have quite a few number of goals already …like getting a hybrid car, a Mac and a house with a yard large enough for entertaining and of course to keep up my long term investments.
Good going. I’ll let you know if I dcide to be the 1/10 of your no 96.
I’m going to do this! I need metaphorical ass-kicks. I like #100. =)
Looks like my #96 might get checked off faster than initially expected!
i’ve run half marathon before…
well, i wasn’t really running. walking instead.
u should.
and tell me what happens next.
hahahaha
21km isn’t that bad. Will train for it next year. Unlike you, my running events will probably not end up with my face on the track. Haha, that’s one funny story. You should blog it. With pictures. And illustrations. Haha!
Yaaay this sounds like both fun and hard work at the same time
lovin it…think i wanna try it out too
let me see if i can think of 101 things to add to the list and will then let you know if u can count me as one of ur 96
I think i wanna put No.72 on my list as well cause my laptop is one big mess, haha
Would you mind if i took it from you?
Good to know you’re keen on Day Zero. Most of the people who’ve indicated interest still haven’t completed to list theirs. It’s much harder than you think.
And of course, feel free to replicate any of the items on this list. It’s a great list after all!
